Furry Angels Policies:
- If your pet is too matted, we reserve the right to shave them down for their own comfort. We feel that to de-mat a dog that is excessively matted is INHUMANE. If your pet is matted, there is a greater chance of injury. IE clipper burns, cuts and nicks. De-matting a dog may cause other skin problems like hot spots and can result in a vet bill that we are NOT going to be held liable for. If your pet is matted, you will be charged an extra 6.25 +tax per 15 min of de-matting or if we have to spend more time on your pet because of the coat condition.
- If your pet has been sick (IE Diarrhea, vomiting, coughing) please rebook their appointment. You will not be charged if less then 24 hrs notice is given.
- We DO NOT express Anal Glands. We will check them and you will be notified.
- WE DO NOT SEDATE ANY PETS. We are not veterinarians and are not qualified to do this.
- If your pet is too aggressive, we reserve the right to stop the grooming and you will be contacted to come and pick up your pet. A fee will be charged.
- Clients are required to treat their pets year round for fleas. If you choose not to and your pet is found to have fleas you will be charged a fumigation fee of $20.00 plus a flea bath of $10.99
- We require 24 hours notice for any cancellations. If you miss your appointment, without good reason, you will be charged the price of your grooming payable before booking your next appointment.
- Sorry no personal cheques.
- Please make sure your pet has peed and or pooped before coming in to the shop.
- Please CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET! Should you require a bag, we will gladly provide one for you. We have had clients step in poop outside of door that were not happy.
- We kindly request that you arrive 10 mins prior to your appointment. This is so we can maintain our schedule. If you are more then 15 minutes late, your appointment will be rebooked.
- Please ensure that your pet is leashed at all times.

We have seen pet behavior change as a result of having to shave them down. They can show signs of depression such as wanting to sleep more, being withdrawn or not wanting to play. By the same token, we have seen them perk up as there are no more mats pulling on their skin. We will take ALL precautions not to harm your pet in anyway.
